Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Palmyra Temple. Somehow we made it into a session between getting lost in Palmyra, not making reservations for the temple and sitting on fold up chairs in the session! I didn't realize it was so small- only 1 endowment room, 2 sealing rooms, and the tiniest locker room I have ever seen! We didn't get to see the Joseph Smith house or go into the sacred grove because everything shut down early for the R.S. Broadcast and it was cold and rainy. I'm sure we'll be back!

The front of the temple
All of the windows in the temple but one have this pattern of a grove of trees in them. Even the baptistery doors have this pattern in them.

The one window that doesn't have the pattern of trees in it is open to the sacred groove. Here is Tyler in front of the place where the window looks out.
The grounds behind the temple just open out into a field with nothing around. It is completely isolated.
