Jackson Hole Trip

While in Utah, we went with the entire family over to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a wonderful vacation. It was so fun to have everyone together finally! We spent 5 days there and had plenty of time for shopping, hiking, and my favorite, rafting down the Snake river.
We hiked up to an overlook of Phelp's Lake in the Tetons. It was beautiful. Tyler and I hiked down to the lake with Laura and Dave where we dipped our feet into the refreshingly freezing water. I think this picture is just gorgeous! I was so amazed at the beauty of the huge mountains and trees. On the hike back up to the overlook I was definitely feeling the elevation changes! Oh, baby. That night we went to a yummy BBQ restaurant for dinner.
The next day we went river rafting which was very crazy with 5 boys on board! We were splashed the majority of the trip and people were being thrown off the raft! The pictures from rafting were hilarious! They are copyrighted so I couldn't post them here but this is the link. Check them out, they are a riot! Rafting pictures here.
We loved walking around downtown. This is us in front of the elk antlers arches. We also got to go to Bar J Wranglers for dinner and a show, Ripley's Believe It or Not museum and the boys went fishing. Tyler caught 2 fish and a very bad sunburn! THANKS Mom and Popcan! We had a wonderful vacation.
After Jackson, I stayed a few extra days to be with family. Grandma Melville came out for a few days and we had a bridal shower for my cousin so I was able to see many family members! I had a blast shopping with my Grandma, Mom and sisters and playing with my adorable nieces and nephews! I went to dinner with my friends my high school and I also got to catch up with my roommate Katherine who just back from her mission in Japan- we talked nonstop for 2 1/2 hours. So fun!
I already miss being home and being close to family!
