Easter Time

We had a nice, low-key Easter this year. We dyed eggs (haven't for 2 years). It was fun, even though Tyler does the same lame eggs every year.Easter morning I hid a basket for Tyler with Andy's candies (delicious local chocolate shop). It took him a while to find, even though it was easier than last year. We had a big french toast breakfast and then went to church, which was shortened to just sacrament meeting due to Easter. It was nice to sing hymns about Christ's life and end with "He is Risen".

I made a ham with balsamic brown sugar glaze, funeral potatoes, roasted asparagus and Texas fudge cake for dessert. Mmmm. Something is happening to me because I ate 2 servings of ham (and then made Sloppy Joes for dinner tonight?? What the heck?)- must be the pregnancy hormones or cravings. Tyler was so pleased with himself and all the extra ham!We decided to try to roll eggs this year, despite hills being hard to come by. I had a great hill in mind in the park where I run. It's a killer to me but when we got there, it wasn't even steep enough for the eggs to roll down! Talk about embarrassing... We found another hill in the park and it worked out pretty good. It's not quite as fun to roll eggs with only 2 people...Happy Easter everyone!

Your hair looks cute! I told Tyler that you must be having a boy if you're eating all this meat. I ordered several steaks when I was pregnant with Brady which was a first!

Our Easter egg rolling was exciting this year, not quite as orderly as growing up. I also started eating bacon and pepperoni while I was pregnant which I hadn't before!
