We went over to a friend's house for dinner and her husband made an awesome roast, carrots, potatoes and rolls. I brought a cake (thanks to neighbors who willingly give eggs!) and we had a great time.

My First Mother's Day
I had a great day on Sunday for my first bona- fide Mother's day. Tyler had breakfast ready for me when I woke up (although he used the eggs I needed for a cake later that day). He gave me a GPS watch to wear running that I am super excited to use. I took it out this morning and surprised myself by my pace! It will be great and hopefully help me train for a race.

I absolutely love being a mother and adore my baby girl! It is much harder than I thought it'd be but I can't imagine anything better! Happy Mother's day to my own Mom who worked hard to raise 5 girls- I appreciate moms even more now I know the work involved!!

Glad you had a good day! Ryan also made breakfast, wasn't ready until 8:20 and have to be at church at 9. So we were a little late but I appreciated the effort!
