Utah Trip and 11 Months old

Bridgette and I just got back from a week long trip to Utah to hangout with my family while Tyler was working nights in the trauma bay.  We had a great time and Tyler survived just fine without us.

Thursday night Laura put together a Lancelle Reunion at City Creek.  It was a blast to see these girls, many of whom I haven't seen since high school.  We laughed at our routines and enjoyed catching up.

 Bridgette hit her 11 month mark on Sept. 2nd.  She wore an old school dress from 30 years ago to church.  (My mom has saved tons of dresses from when we were little)

 We spent lots of time with cousins.  Monday we went up Millcreek canyon to have a picnic and walk around a little by the creek.  We tried to get a picture of "the babies" like the one we had taken when Bridgette was 1 month old.  Not too successful!

Bridgette and Frederick had a bath.  

 They had fun playing until Frederick touched Bridgette and she started screaming, which made him scream and we had 2 unhappy babies. 

Bridgette's favorite part of the trip was playing with Bronco.  She would follow him around trying to touch him.  "Doggy" was her first real word (besides "mama" and "dada") which she kept saying when she would see him.  Such a big girl!

I also got to catch up with my good friend Ericka from Rochester and my roommate Katherine.  I did lots of sewing on my quiet book and shopping with my mom.  Bridgette warmed up to my parents and really enjoyed reading stories and playing with Popcan by the time we left.  We are so happy to be in California so we can visit our families more often!  Thanks for letting us come.
