Bridgette is 16 months tomorrow. I can't believe it! She has become a little kid during this past month. She is running around and loves to play on the playground. I love seeing her decide where to play now, rather than me taking her around. This week she surprised me by opening the front door and walking out to find me (I ran down to get the rest of our groceries). Guess I need to lock her in now!
At her 15 month checkup, she was 21 lbs at about the 30%-ile, and 32 inches- 75%-ile. Her height is slowing down a little, but she is still tall and skinny!
Here are a few animal sounds she has learned this week.
Her hair is getting so long! It always needs to be pulled back somehow. She still loves reading books. She is really good at doing her wood puzzles and doesn't just try to eat them anymore.
This is one day during breakfast.
She has become attached to her blankets and loves to snuggle with them. She pulled both of these out of her closet to play with.
She talks all day long and can say about 15 words. (Dog, duck, Bronco,
down, nana {banana}, pear, diaper, dada, cup, thank you, night-night,
baby, boo, mama, cracker, cookie, and sometimes apple) She is trying to
eat with utensils and pulls off her bib almost every meal. She loves
putting things away, whether or not it is where it goes. She knows most
body parts and will point to them if you ask her to. "Belly button!"
We love this big girl!
