Layton Visit

We love being able to visit our families more now that we are West Coast again!  This time, it was just me and Bridgette since Tyler was working like crazy as a 2nd year resident.  We had so much fun and Bridgette really got to know her Grandparents, cousins and Bronco.  She has been asking for "Ammy", "Pop-pa" and "Gonco" ever since we got back!

Bridgette was very entertained by Jace and Eli, who are great with little ones.  When I showed her this picture yesterday, she could say both Jace and Eli's name!  Wow! She also liked "baby" Sophie.  We can't wait for Sophie to get a little older so Bridgette can have a girl to play with rather than all the wild men!
 Reading stories with Grammy.
She loved playing with my dad and immediately started calling him "Pop-pa" and asking for him when she woke up.  This is playing her favorite game "Hey" aka knocking down towers.
One day I went to the zoo with my Grandma, Laura, Brady and baby Tanner.  Bridgette loved seeing all the animals, although her favorite was the giraffe who went pee-pee right in front of her.  She can't stop talking about it!
 Sharing ice cream with Nana.
I loved this "partners in crime" picture.  Brady is pushing the button so Bridgette can play in the water.  These two got along great.
She was so exhausted she fell asleep within 5 minutes of driving home.
We went to the new splash pad in Layton with my friend Barbara and her little girl, Addy.  They are only 2 weeks apart.  We loved these cuties in their shades!
Some of Bridgette's favorite things- playing on the bed, Bronco and Popcan!
We had a Lancelle Reunion at Shaylee's house.  It was so fun to catch up and watch our old routines.  We had some great laughs!

Somehow I didn't get any pictures with Emily's kids, but they came and played several times too.  We also visited a friend from Rochester, my old roommate Katherine, and had a big Sunday dinner with the whole family, my Grandma and the Christians.  Bridgette loved the raspberry bushes and would eat them right off as fast as she could.  We thoroughly enjoyed getting taken out to lunch and dinner several times too!  (Okay, so mostly I loved that...)

Bridgette loved playing in the rain (rainy days are hard to come by here!)

And playing in the soapy water.  I will be using this trick in the future!  Thanks Mom!
I was finally able to visit Amelia's grave.  I mostly had a strange feeling approaching her grave.  It's like I can't believe that I have a poor sweet baby buried here because I am so young.  It wasn't nearly as sad as I expected though, and it felt peaceful as I looked around to see my Grandpa Melville, and Heidi right next to her.  The headstone turned out very sweet.  I look forward to visiting Amelia each time we come to see family.

Brady woke up this morning saying "Dip, dip, dip..." I asked him who said that and he said "Bridgie". Glad we got to see you a few times while you were out!
