At her 2 week checkup on Monday, she was already 8 lbs, that's up a whole pound from her birth weight! She's a hearty eater apparently.
Tyler took a week off of work to be around and get us settled in with 2 kids. He was able to take Bridgette up to the Aquarium and feed the lorakeets:
And have a wild Superbowl party. Haha...
We had a low-key first dinner out at Pei-Wei.
We went for a few walks with the new stroller.
When Tyler had to go back to real-life, his mom came out to help. Bridgette loved having Grandma here to play with and read stories to her. I loved being able to take naps! They made yummy Valentine's day sugar cookies.
Somehow I've survived my first days on my own without any major disasters. Maybe we can get adjusted easier than I thought.
Bridgette is obsessed with the burp clothes and calls them "little blankies". I loved this alternate use of the boppy and burp clothes!
She likes to put them on Penelope to "keep her warm." (There's at least 4 on her now)Our neighbors gave us their baby swing and Penny loves it! It is great to keep her napping. We just need to watch out for Bridgette trying to adjust the speed...
Her hair has lightened up a little, but it still is thick and sticks up like crazy.
We are so in love with this sweet, chubby cheeks baby!

I love Bridgette and the burp cloths, how funny. What a sweet little girl. It's hilarious that you, Bridgie, and Penny all have the exact same hair as a baby!
