We just got back from a week-long trip to St. George for Trevor's wedding. Tyler had to work until Friday, so I flew out with the girls on Sunday and spent the week at the Moore's house so we didn't have to drive down and back all in 2 days.
We had lots of time to play in the HOT sun. We aren't used to 100* days, but we went swimming almost every day. Bridgette got a pink pool from Grandma and she loved it.
Bridgette liked petting the 3 dogs that were there- Tigger, Cholo, and Kronk. Bridgette went to the splash pad with Grandpa and got to ride the carousel. We played lots of bubbles and chalk outside. I loved seeing the soft side of Great Grandpa Mate blowing bubbles with Bridgette.

We saw lots of family and was able to get this 4 generations picture.
My mom came down so she could watch the girls while we went to the temple sealing. She came down on Wednesday so we were able to play with her, go swimming, check out the new children's museum and go out to eat a few times. It worked out perfect since the Moore's were busy getting the wedding ready, and cooking tons of food so we didn't miss out on anything. Bridgette was so happy she could play with 2 grandmas!
Congrats to Trevor and Kelsey!
I got to eat my food hot! (Never happens at home...)Kylie and Grandma took turns with this sweet little one.
The reception was outside in a neighbor's backyard. It turned out really cute! Bridgette and Penelope had cute matching pink dresses.
Apparently only one kid can smile at a time.
Penny and Daddy.
Bridgette loved picking out a fun straw.
Hanging out eating.Our Family.
Bridgette loved the party, dancing with daddy and twirling in her dress.
I love this face of pure joy!
We had lots of fun and are excited to get to know Kelsey more! Unfortunately the drive home was the drive from hell. We left at 10:30 am and didn't get back until 8:30pm. It's only supposed to be a 6 1/2 hr drive. We hit terrible traffic in several places, passed 2 accidents, didn't pack enough snacks since we thought we'd be home for dinner, and had a crabby baby who screamed much of the way home. Let's just say, we'll be keeping our road trips short for a while.
