Halloween time is so much fun with kids! The girls were so excited about everything, and Penny has learned many new words- pumpkin (bnumkin), ghost, web, Halloween, treat (trick or treat), chocolate, bucket (asking for bucket of her candy).
Grandma Moore brought tons of pumpkins with her so I let the girls each paint a few one long afternoon. They loved it!
We carved pumpkins for family night.
Bridgette's was a happy face, Penny's was a surprised face (from a Halloween book she loved) and Harrison's was a silly face.
Bridgette got to wear her costume to Preschool on Wednesday for a party. I love this picture because the teacher inadvertently captured Bridgette's new favorite pretend play- feeding her babies!
Each child got to pass out their treats to the class. We made black cat cookies to share.
We went to the ward Trunk-or-treat on Friday night.
Halloween night we all went trick-or-treating. Bridgette was a penguin.
Penny was a tiger.
Harrison was the baby penguin.
And here's the group shot... what a joke!!
The girls loved trick-or-treating, especially looking at the pumpkins and showing us what kind of candy they got. Penny caught on real fast about what to do. She had a blast! One of Bridgette's highlights was seeing her dog friends from the dog park at their houses and getting to pet them!
The girls got way too much candy!
We had a great Halloween this year, and the girls' costumes got plenty of use!
