Bridgette is 5

Bridgette turned 5 a few weeks ago!  I can't believe it.  She has matured so much this last few months.  She loves school, and thrives in the structured, rule-oriented environment.  She loves doing art and art projects.  She loves going to Disneyland and swinging at the park.
She is a wonderful big sister and loves playing with Penny (directing play) and being a big helper with Harrison.
She lost her first tooth a month before she turned 5.  It was a bit dramatic but she was happy to pick out a donut with her money.
Since Daddy was still in the hospital, we brought a few presents to open there.
She got her own kids' camera.  She loves it and is constantly taking funny pictures and movies.
Bridgette wanted a "Fancy Nancy" birthday party.  She invited several friends from her class and church.  She absolutely loved planning the party and making decorations and favors.  Ready for her party in her fancy outfit and hairdo.
When the girls arrived, they got to choose a crown, wand and rings to "get fancy".  This is with her friend Maneli from school.
The girls made their own necklaces with beads and sparkly hair clips.
It was so calm with all these sweet focused little girls!  We couldn't stop laughing about how this could never work with little boys!
We had a tea party with sandwiches, fruit kabobs, and rice krispie treats (request from Bridgette) with pink lemonade.
Harrison was there too, hanging out with Grandma.
After snacks, the girls got to decorate cupcakes.  The one big problem came when I picked up the trays of unfrosted cupcakes and they were COVERED with ants EVERYWHERE!  Several of the moms helped me quickly flick off ants before the girls knew what happened.  The risk of having our party outside, haha!
 Happy birthday beautiful Bridgette!
She loved everyone singing to her!

Penny loved the cupcakes!  I caught her dipping in her knife and just eating frosting.  Exactly what I expected from Penny...
 Yummy!

Cute girl trying out the feather boa from her friend, Mila.
She had a great day, even if Daddy couldn't be there.  She loved playing with her friends and doing the crafts.  She got so many fun gifts from her friends and has been doing art projects ever since.
