Halloween was so fun this year. All the kids loved it and were so excited to carve pumpkins and trick or treat.
Since Tyler couldn't scoop out the pumpkins, I had to do it. I think it was the first time I had scooped one out for 10 years! I surprised myself by not screaming once, thanks to my long gloves and ice cream scoop.
The finished pumpkins. Bridgette's- Surprised face, Penny's- Stinky Face, Harrison's- Stinker smiley face.
Cute little guy!
We invited Bridgette's friend from school, Layla, and her sister to come along. The girls insisted on waiting in line to get cotton candy. They loved it!
Harrison snuck the last of Penny's sucker and was in heaven.
On Halloween night, all ready to go trick or treating. (Penny is making "stinky face" to match her pumpkin).
They were so excited they were running into the neighborhood.
We walked about 1 mile down and back. We were so happy that Tyler could come along with us too. Penny and Bridgette walked the whole time while I pushed Harrison in the stroller. Penny was so exhausted by the end she was wobbly and couldn't even walk down the steps of the last house- she slid down on her bum!
They got so much candy!
We loved seeing how excited the girls were this year. It made Halloween so much fun!
