We were lucky to have a few weeks to spend with our families before our move to Irvine. While Tyler was driving and moving boxes, Bridgette got to meet Bronco. She was immediately invited to play fetch.
I went down to Provo with my Mom to visit Grandma Tucker.
While they were running errands, I walked with Bridgette to the duck pond we'd play at when we'd visit Grandma and took this picture with Mt. Timp in the background. It reminded me of my Grandpa who loved Timp. We have a Christmas card with my sisters all in sweater vests at this exact place. (No, I won't be putting her in a sweater vest anytime soon!)
My sister Jenny and kids Ana and Gauge came out to visit. I don't have any pictures with them, but we had fun swimming at Crystal Hot Springs, eating lunch with Grandma Melville and having a movie night. They were so great playing with Bridgette!
Popcan took Tyler and Dave up to the Uintah Mountains for a backpacking and fishing trip. They hiked in a few miles to a lake, camped there, fished and had male bonding time. They came back sore, tired and smelling like boys! This is Popcan and Dave fishing. They caught about 14 fish total.
Bridgette got to play with Frederick, the crazy driver. She looks a little concerned for her safety!
Laura and Emily planned a surprise Graduation Party for Tyler. He was really surprised and it took him a while to realize that it was his party! Ha ha. It was fun!
With his awesome coconut cake made by Emily and dorky decorations.
Friends from high school.
We headed off to St. George on Sunday and enjoyed some nice sunny days. We went to Quail Creek to swim and jet ski. Bridgette was a little hesitant because the water was a little chilly.
She did love watermelon though! She ate about 6 pieces in her mesh bag. That was all she had for lunch!
She had lots of fun playing with her uncle Brecken.
We went on a hike to a waterfall in Kannarville with the Moores. Bridgette and I started it, but turned around halfway because it was more dangerous than we thought it'd be. Tyler was able to go the top and down a natural waterslide.
We left St. George on Wednesday and drove to our new apartment. We have been busy unpacking. Looks like it will work out great. We are excited for church tomorrow so we can meet some people in the ward. I'll post some pictures of our place once it doesn't look so crazy!
