Check up

4th of July cutie

Bridgette had her 9 month checkup today.  I was a little nervous because we had a new doctor, but I absolutely loved her, and the new office.  Whew.  Since we're here for 5 years, it was a much bigger deal than choosing our last pediatrician (which I ended up really pleased with).

Anyways, Bridgette looked great and continues to grow, although seems to tapered off a little in her height.  She was 28 inches, at the 75%-ile.  Weight was 16 lbs 14 oz, at the 30%-ile.  Still tall and skinny! 

My one big fail as a dietitian mom, however, is that she has low iron.  So, carnivore stage here we come!  In my efforts to follow guidelines and avoid allergens, I think I didn't realize she wasn't get much opportunity for iron during the day.  We will be going back for an iron recheck in 6 weeks, so hopefully by then, we get it up.
