Our Angel Amelia

At 27 weeks pregnant, I noticed I wasn't feeling the baby move when I usually did.  I went into my Dr. and he couldn't find a heartbeat.  He immediately sent me over to the hospital to induce labor.  After a long and emotionally exhausting day, baby Amelia was born at 11:25pm on March 4th.  She was beautiful and looked just like Bridgette did as a newborn.  She was 1 lb 7 oz, and 14 1/2 inches long.

Blood tests showed the baby's blood had mixed with mine, and so she died of blood loss.  They never could conclude what happened, but there was some sort of problem with the placenta vessels.

We were able to hold Amelia for a few hours, and a photographer came to take pictures for us.  We felt a great feeling of peace during the delivery and afterwards.  We are heartbroken, but are grateful for our temple marriage and eternal families.
We had a graveside service in Salt Lake on Saturday, the 9th.  Amelia was able to be buried by her sweet cousin, Heidi and my Grandpa Melville.  We were overwhelmed by how many family members came to support us in this difficult time.
We ended the service with a balloon release which seemed to fit perfectly.  Just before we released the balloons, while my sister Jenny was singing "I am a Child of God" the sun came out.  It was beautiful.
Tyler had to attend an Orthopedic conference in Sun Valley starting on Sunday, so I stayed with my parents for the week.  Bridgette and I had lots of distractions with playing with cousins which was just what we needed.  We came back on Sunday.  It feels so good to be back with Tyler and getting back into our normal routine.  It is really rough to be away from your husband when you need his support so bad!
 Our family.
My sisters.  So grateful they could all be there!
 The Moores.
We are so grateful for all the prayers, thoughts, and help we have received.  We love and miss our sweet Amelia!
