6 months

Our sweet Princess P just turned 6 months old! At her checkup this week, Penny was 15 1/2 lbs- 50%-ile and 25 3/4 inches- 50%-ile.  For being an average sized baby, she sure has chubby legs!  I have a hard time getting them into the bumbo and it gets stuck on her when I get her out!  We are loving the cute baby chub on Penelope.

We fed her solids this week.  To say she liked eating cereal is a huge understatement.  This girl is so ready for food!

 She held onto the spoon for dear life and wouldn't let go.

 

And by the end was grabbing the bowl and trying to eat it.

 This month Penny got her first ride in a swing and loved it!

 

She is now rolling all over the place and getting into trouble!  I need to get baby proofing.

She is really fun and starting to laugh at Bridgette, roll around to find toys, and likes watching what's going on outside.  Penny has started rolling over in her crib to try to sleep but she can't quite figure out how to relax and just ends up crying.  It's pretty funny.

Bridgette has started calling Penelope "Flower Pot" for some reason, and the nick name has kind of stuck.  Now we are all calling her Flower Pot and Stink Pot.  I love this age and love watching Penny discover her world.
