Bridgette is 4!

I can't believe my Bridgette is already 4!  At her checkup, she was 42" at the 95%-ile and 37 lbs at 75%-ile.  She will always be our tall girl!
The morning of her birthday we went and got birthday donuts for breakfast.  She got the sprinkle covered one, ate all the frosting off and then told me it was yucky.  Haha.
Daddy got home really early from work, so she got to open her presents.  She got 2 princess shirts, giant stuffed animal dog and a monkey game.
Trying out her new game.  We've already played it about 20 times in 3 days!
Grammy sewed her this cute night gown with matching one for an animal/doll.
That afternoon she had a safari birthday party.  We invited a few friends and did a low key party at our house.  She loved it!  Especially all the cheap decorations she helped pick out at the store- "My party is BEAUTIFUL!"

She requested a giraffe birthday cake.  It turned out pretty cute!
When the kids arrived, we made some binoculars out of toilet paper rolls and went on a safari outside to find some animals!  Tyler hid candy outside with pictures of animals on them to hunt for.  The kids loved it!

Bridgette's live action shot.  Probably my favorite picture from her birthday.  Look at that face!
We ate pizza and fruit for dinner and then we had her birthday cake.
Blowing out candles.

She had a great birthday and enjoyed every minute of it.  She is so excited to be 4 and told us the next day "I have to wait another whole year for my birthday!"

Bridgette loves taking care of Penny.  They were holding hands walking down the hall last week, and one day Bridgette surprised me by getting Penny dressed all by herself.

She has just started drawing pictures of herself and of other people.  This is a cute chalk self portrait from last week.

She is such a responsible, imaginative, mothering, smart, artistic girl! She has 4 four favorite colors- pink, yellow, purple and green.  She loves all her stuffed animals and plays with them during naptime.  She loves doing art, swimming, reading books (especially non-fiction animal books), dancing, Sunbeams, helping me cook, riding her tricycle and scooter, and playing games.  She demands picking out her outfits ("pink girl" or "rainbow girl" usually) and hair accessories.  She is becoming more sure of herself and more interested in playing with other kids.  We love this sweet, obedient girl who made us parents!!  Happy birthday Bridgette!
