Outings

We have been busy on the weekends and holidays this winter.  Tyler and I got to go to a Lakers game alone!  It was wonderful to have a chance to talk in the car without being interrupted 5 times and just relax.  We had awesome box seats from Tyler's work buddy.  The highlight was the dessert cart that came around- yum!!
We are loving our aquarium passes!  The kids are getting very brave at the touch tanks and are really obsessed with the octopus.
Daddy likes to take the girls to Chick-fil-A for breakfast.  It's their thing and I love that they love it.
The beach!  We love the beach and this winter good beach days have been hard to come by!  When we had a sunny weekend, we took advantage even though it wasn't too warm.  Harrison hasn't been for a while so he was in little boy heaven!
 Look at that air!
Penny was cracking me up singing Moana songs.  "I've been standing at the edge of the water..."
This kid was serious about digging!
President's Day we went to Rosie's at CDM for breakfast and donuts and then headed over the the tide pools.  They were so fun and I can't believe we haven't been here yet.  We saw sea anemones, hermit crabs, crabs, snails and lots of cool shells, sea glass and rocks.  Harry was really into splashing and would scream if I ever was holding him too far away to get wet.
Bridgette scraped her foot pretty good jumping off a big rock and was real upset about it.  Luckily she calmed down enough for the kids to play in the sand for a while.
 Pretty day.
Trying to play jump rope with seaweed.  And then I turn and see Harry running full speed into the ocean... Seriously this kid is crazy and FAST!

Rainy Saturdays mean Family Storytime at the awesome Newport Beach Library.  These cute girls and the library snuggles with such focused faces.  Harrison was off trying to the climb the stairs every 30 seconds.  That kid...
Last weekend we hiked a little bit on a trail through a wildlife preserve by us.  It was beautiful and green from all the rain we have been getting.  The kids all loved it!  Harrison walked almost the whole time.  Bridgette became a fuzzy catepillar rescuer and helped countless caterpillars cross the path safely.  Cute tender hearted girl.  We only hiked about 1.5 miles but so happy with how well the kids all did.  So fun.

Can I just say, I am so happy to hear that our boys are so similar! Haha! We struggle with the same things. Busy boys!
