Last week, when Bridgette was reaching for the fire man pole on our playground, she somehow missed, and fell about 8 feet right onto her arm. I was right there and thought "there is no way she didn't break her arm". She was pretty shaken up from the fall because it was so high. She had the wind knocked out of her and she told me everything hurt. She calmed down pretty quick and her arm looked okay, but watching her afterwards, I noticed she kept holding it in the same position. Since we were due to leave for San Diego that night, I took her into an Urgent Care just in case. Tyler met us there, read the x-ray for the doctor and confirmed it was broken. She broke both her radius and ulna, but luckily it is just a green-stick fracture, so it will heal quickly. Tyler took her up to his hospital so he could help cast her and so she could get a water-proof cast. She will keep her cast on for 4 weeks.
After with her cast. Such a sweet girl who was so calm about the whole experience.
Bridgette is so lucky to have a daddy who is a doctor!
