Harrison is 2!!!

This cute boy is 2!?!  We love him so much and love the CRAZY boy he is becoming.
We started out with the traditional birthday donuts for breakfast.  He cracked me up by eating it like a dog.  He never picked it up!

Luckily we opened presents the day before when dad was home for a few minutes in between weekend call cases.  Harrison got lots of fun things- pool monster truck, car rug, "Little Blue Truck" book, a digger t-shirt, truck jammies, small construction trucks (on cake), animal flashlight and coloring light up pad.

 With his loot.  So happy!
Being so silly!
Awesome truck cake.  The girls loved helping me decorate it and Harrison loved it!  Easiest cake I've made so far!
 Sweet sweet boy.
He was totally hilarious about blowing out the candles- he blew them out before we finished singing!  Much different from the girls who took 50 tries to get them out.
 Yum!
Me and the cute birthday boy.  He has the sweetest smile that gets him whatever he wants.  Even when he is naughty!

At his two year checkup, he was 27 lbs- 50%ile and 35.5 inches- 80%ile.  He is tall and thin.  Everything else looked great.  He is a great speaker and is starting to put together short sentences.  I can't even keep up with what he knows.  My favorite things he says are "I'm trying!" when he can't do something and "SO MUCH!" for when you ask him if he likes something.  He has also started giving huge hugs and saying "I wuve you mama".  Sweetest thing ever!  If you ask him if he is Harrison or a cookie, he will smile, say cookie and then you get to "eat him" while he cracks up.  Every morning when I come into his room he greets me with the sweetest, most sincere "HI mama!".  It melts my heart.

He loves cars and trucks more than any other toys.  I was laughing when he loaded up the stroller and was pushing them around.

I was cracking up when he ran outside butt naked after his bath and started playing.  Totally a boy!
Harrison and Penny get to spent lots of time together when Bridgette is at school.  They definitely have a love/hate relationship.  Sometimes they get along so well, but most of the time they are fighting over toys, or one of them is crying.  This is what I found when I was looking for them to eat breakfast.  "Mom Harrison just wanted to play snuggle party!"  Uh-huh...
When you have two older sisters who are constantly dressing up like princesses and dancing, you get a little caught up in the drama...and start asking for a tutu, and a crown and gloves (socks).  Penny was giving him Elsa lessons.  And it was awesome...
He loves going to nursery, running around the park, riding his wiggle car, spraying water, waving to people and dogs, singing "round and round" (wheels on the bus).  He loves Disneyland, especially the Mater ride, but is terrified of the characters and princesses.  He jumps on our bed every chance he gets and climbs all over the couches.  He is obsessed with the Bob the Builder show and even sings the song (so cute!).  He is such a joy and we all laugh at how naughty he is.
