The kids loved everything about Halloween this year! We have done lots of fun things to celebrate and decorate. Early on, we made a Haunted House from a kit and they loved decorating it and sneaking the candies off. We made this cute pinata which was filled with Halloween crafts and candy. It didn't break very well and they ended up hitting on the ground with a MagLight, haha!
We carved pumpkins a few days before. Bridgette drew her face on herself and drew Harrison's. Penny and Daddy worked together. They loved seeing them glow and singing the "Halloween" song.
We were in Utah for a job interview in Vernal, so we were able to attend my family's Halloween Party. It was fun and I somehow could zip up my cheerleading uniform from when I was 15!?!
My parents were good sports and watched the kids while Tyler and I drove to Vernal for a few days. It was our first time without kids since Bridgette was one. The interview was fine and we were shown all around the Vernal/Flaming Gorge area. We had some extra time so we went to Dinosaur National Monument to see the dinosaur bones. It was so cool and the nerdy little boy in Tyler came busting out...
The kids got to go to the ward Trunk-or-Treat with Grandma while we were gone on another quick interview to Utah. They loved it, ate tons of candy and didn't even miss us!
Giant sucker before they even got started, haha!I love this...Bridgette watching out for Harry and Harry with a huge grin.
Penny and Bridgette both got to wear their costumes to school. Bridgette was a cute flamingo. She was so thrilled once I finished her costume.

Halloween night- all ready to trick or treat! Penny and that "stinky face"...
Best attempt.Seriously why even try?...
Sweetest little monkey ever! He was telling everyone "I a MonKEY" and about a "monster door" and a "scary green guy". He is so friendly and sweet-all the houses we stopped at loved him. He had to look at all the decorations at each house, so we got pretty far behind the girls and Tyler.
The kids got way too much candy and are already driving me nuts about asking for it, but they had so much fun and loved Halloween!
