What else we've been up to

We have been busy during February.  We have spent lots of time with friends at Disneyland- our favorite place to go lately!  I've become such a softie and we buy treats way more than we used to.  The kids aren't complaining about that!
This is with our "betrothed" friends, Daniel, Micah and Ivy.  All the kids match up with an opposite gender their age, so we joke (and hope!) they will all get married.  They took us on the Tom Sawyer river cruise and the kids loved it- we had never gone before!
Last week, the Whatcotts were vacationing here so we met up for an afternoon at Disneyland.  The girls love seeing Addy.  (Don't mind Bridgette's pj's- it was Dr. Seuss PJ day at school).
This famous horse is named "Jewel" by Penny and is the reason behind 2 meltdowns while on the carousel when she didn't get to ride it.  The worker saw her tantrum and was kind enough to let us stay on so she could get first pick the next time around.  Disney worker code for stop throwing fits- "Mickey doesn't like crying!" Somehow the first time we have heard that one...

Finally some rain and puddles to jump in!

Having a "most rainbow" contest with each other.  Those outfits got pretty wild fast!
Lots of sunny beautiful park days.
We started Ballet classes.  Bridgette is doing great and Penny has been such a better listener this year.  I'm so proud of them both and they love going!

Valentine's Day fancy family dinner.  It was a little crazy since we had dance class that afternoon, but we did have stuffed shells, homemade rolls, and a delicious chocolate pudding pretzel pie.  The girls love the candlelight and smooth jazz Tyler puts on.  We love this tradition!
Taco Tuesday date night at Puesto- a new hipster taco shop by us.  Really yummy and different.  Tyler got a crab taco and we were shocked to see it come out, shell, legs and all, just breaded and deep fried.  It was way to freaky looking to even taste!  Haha.
Bridgette's ants from her ant farm finally came in the mail and she has had so much fun watching them build tunnels and taking care of them.  They have lasted quite a while and we are down to about six, but they are going strong.
Harrison has perfected tantrums.  This was when I turned off his monster truck show.  Poor little guy loves trucks way too much!
We have been walking past the construction site in our neighborhood in the morning, so Harry can watch the trucks.  He is so happy to watch them as long as Penny will last.
We love visiting the Newport Beach Public Library.  Last time we went, we explored the outdoor statue garden.  The kids loved running around through the bushed and over all the bridges.
