Superbowl "Party" and random

Tyler and I had a small little "party" for the Superbowl with just the two of us. Tyler insisted on traditional food, but being a dietitian, I of course modified it a little. Our "wings" were baked chicken strips, with baked fries, and a salad. We had dinner and then went over to our friends with an apple crisp and watched the rest of the game. It was pretty fun, although I was reviewing mechanisms of the B vitamins metabolism for a test the next day.

We're happy about the warming weather, most of the snow is long gone!
I am now driving only 45 minutes for my commute which I love! My hospital is a very small one, but my preceptor is great and I am loving clinical rotations. My last patient this week drinks 16-17 beers a day! Oh, New York is interesting... and yes you are right, he has liver failure.

We are both keeping busy with school and tests, so that leaves our house looking like this at the end of the week:I know, nine pairs is really pathetic!

For Valentines Day we went to an Asian (Laos) restaurant. It was delicious, and because we don't go out much anymore, it's twice as fun. Tyler got me this cute tulips, a nice change from roses.
