Today is crazy cold, I wish it would just go away!
Here are a few examples of when you know it's REALLY cold:
1. There is frost on all the windows and the entire front of the house in the morning
2. The button to your screen door is frozen shut when you get home from work, so you have to go get a maintenance guy to bust it open for you and the office secretary says "Oh, this happens a lot in the winter".
3. Your mail is frozen to the bottom of the mailbox.
Seriously, did winter really have to come back???

Tyler is doing his Orthopaedic Residency at UC Irvine. We moved from Upstate NY where Tyler did medical school at The University of Rochester. I'm a Registered Dietitian and now a full time mom. We have a sweet 3-year old Bridgette, an Angel Amelia, and new baby Penelope born in January.

That sucks! Just wait when you get back to Utah. The winter will feel so warm! I have kept saying, "This has been the warmest January I ever remember!" But then the news said that we had a record breaking streak of cold days! Guess its because I am used to Rexburg!
How about when your windows are ice encrusted from the inside? We get that one in our bedrooms, probably from shower steam.
We're in the same boat. Gotta love your nose hairs freezing when you breathe outside. We haven't gotten our mail in 3 days because it's too cold to walk to the mailbox.
