Rochester Christmas

Before we left for Utah, we had our own mini Christmas. This year we opted not to get a big tree, since we would only have it for 2 weeks. Instead we got this darling pine tree/plant from Wegmans. I could only put on our tiniest ornaments. It was cute, but not as fun as a real tree.
Tyler got me speakers for an ipod (I always listen to music on the computer in the kitchen), automatic soap dispenser, running gloves, and the New Moon movie. I am all set for my Twilight addiction. I gave Tyler a sweater shirt, tie to match his pink shirt, sunglasses, and cheese. He couldn't tell that the yellow squares with the dots were supposed to be cheese- imagine that! We had a good long laugh over it.We also went to a Christmas party at our friend, Jeff's, house. It was so fun to see all Tyler's classmates we haven't seen much of this year due to the crappy 3rd year schedule. They had a pinata and made me try to hit it first. I got spun around so many times, I wasn't even facing the right direction to hit it! I've never been good at pinatas...We hope everyone had a great holiday season! We always have a hard time adjusting back to normal life. I am barely getting back onto the Eastern time zone!

Hey, next time you guys go out to Chicago, give us a call, we're on your way, I think. It'd be fun to see you!
