My 18 month old crazy

Bridgette has become the craziest little thing.  She was 18 months the beginning of this month, but between moving and getting resettled, blogging has been pushed aside.
She is still tall and skinny- 70th%-ile for height and only 25th%-ile for weight.  She is becoming a "mini mom" and does the same things I do during the day.  She was so proud of herself for climbing up onto this stool and then started talking on the "phone" aka my kitchen timer.  (Old apartment kitchen vs. new apartment kitchen in the next picture)
She rediscovered her bumbo chair and loves to sit in it and read stories or demand snacks while I am cooking.  She also started saying "cheese" if I tell her to for pictures, hence this perfect little smile.  She can now correctly and consistently identify 4 letters- M, B, O and C.  She likes to practice on this book cover.
Along with getting better at running and climbing, has come more bumps and cuts.  She face planted while running at the park this week and got this big cut on her face.  It looks much better now.
She had corn on the cob for the first time and loved it once she figured out how to eat it.
Her favorite activity is to push around her laundry bin and pull her clothes out, and put them back in, along with other important toys she finds.  This entertains her for at least 30 minutes!
She is absorbing so much and is talking quite a bit.  She loves to read books about animals and knows most animal sounds.  She regularly asks to watch a video Tyler took of the sea lions barking in San Francisco.

She loves to sing and has recently learned actions to "Itsy bitsy spider", "Wheels on the bus" and "Monkeys on the bed".  She is starting to color with chalk and play on the playground all by herself.  She is also very good at letting you know what she wants/doesn't want.  She says "More" and "no" and has an excellent overhand throw (dinner time...)  She is getting opinionated and will tell me if I put the wrong bow in her hair.  Haha!  We have a diva on our hands!

We absolutely love and adore this cute little girl!

Glad you are getting settled. Your kitchen looks nice and big! She must be following in Brady's footsteps with the letters, we're still working on it with Eli! When can we see her again, sounds like she's changing so much!
