Staycation

Tyler had last week off of work and we decided to stay here and do some fun things!  We played hard and crashed by the end of the week.  We all got Disneyland passes and are excited to be going back more often.  Unfortunately, we went on Monday and Wednesday- the 2 hottest days of the week, almost 100 degrees!  We were roasting and sweaty!
 Rockets.
We actually got to ride grown-up rides this time by doing some kid swaps.  Tyler took the girls on the carousel so I could go on the big rollercoaster.
Penny's first ride!  She actually loved it and flapped her arms most of the time.
Tyler sprinted to get tickets so Bridgette could meet Elsa and Anna.  She was timid and shy (typical Bridgette) but has been talking a lot about it.
We went up to the Long Beach Aquarium on Thursday and Penny loved looking at the jellyfish, puffins and fish.  Such big wide eyes the whole time!
Bridgette's new favorite part is the jelly fish touch tank.  We had to do it twice and she spent at least 5 minutes petting them.  She used the "2 finger touch" but somehow still pushed them around, haha!
On Friday morning Tyler went surfing.  Penny started feeling sick and had a fever, so we took it easy.  Tyler and Bridgie went up to Disneyland again that afternoon to watch the parade.  She finally got to see Pluto (she had been asking all week to see him).
And loved the parade.  This is waving to her princesses.
We go to do a sealing session together in the temple.  My visiting teacher watched the girls for us.  It was nice to go again.  The AC had broken though and it was hot in there under the hot lights!  Luckily neither of us passed out...
We also went swimming lots and had burgers for dinner one night at the pool.
It was so fun to have so much time with Daddy!  It's always a bummer to go back to real life...
