4th of July Weekend

We had a low-key 4th of July this year because of my recovering knee surgery and a sick Penny (fever of 104 degrees!).  Bridgette and Tyler went to the ward Pancake Breakfast together and then we tried to get a family picture.

 Kids pictures turned out pretty cute!  Love these little ones.

 We did get to do a little swimming in the afternoon together, had a family BBQ and then Tyler and Bridgette went to fireworks with some friends.  We decided it was best if Penny could catch up on some sleep.

Saturday we explored a new splash pad in Orange County.  The girls loved it and it was so fun!

 Later that week, we had a get together to say goodbye to our friends, Taylor and Melissa King, who will be gone for a year back East Coast.  It's hard to get a picture of 10 kids!

 Melissa, Marie and I were all pregnant at the same time.  We will miss Melissa and her kids.

It also happened to be our 9th wedding anniversary, haha!  I guess we're too old to even take a picture.  Can't believe it's been so long!  Happy anniversary to us!!
