Road Trip to Chicago

I went over to Chicago this last weekend for the American Dietetic Association Annual Conference. I drove there with 2 other interns. It was a long 10 hour drive, but we had a fun time. Since Carrie is in Chicago and she's a Dietitian, it worked out perfect. We got to go to the conference together and just hang out and play with her cute son, Jace. It was so much fun interacting with so many other people who are a little obsessive about nutrition. I got to go to so many classes and loved the expo where they give tons of free samples and other random things. This is a picture of all our stuff. I think it looks like Halloween, but with whole grain pasta.
This picture is in front of the expo, our favorite place because we got tons of yummy chocolate milk and coupons for free bags of chocolate chips. Tyler is enjoying all the free samples I brought home...


I won a purple cashmere scarf from the drawing at the Welch's booth. I was so excited because I never win anything anymore. They took a bunch of pictures of me and are possibly going to put one on their website. This picture is kind of dorky, but you get the point.This is me and Jace playing with his ball. At Emily's wedding Jace wouldn't even look at me, luckily this time we had a lot of fun playing.

I had so much fun and it was good to have a little break. Tyler was sure glad when I got home! He didn't know what to do without me... nice to know he needs me and misses my cooking!
