For cake decorating class this week, we decorated cupcakes with figures. It was a lot of fun! We also did a few roses, but because my frosting turned out to be more green than the blue violet I was going for, I thought it looked like a head of lettuce. Traci decided I should decorate a cupcake with lettuce and a carrot. We think it turned out pretty cute! And no, you can't count it as one of your 5 a day!

This week we've also started to get snow! It's been pretty crazy, not a lot on the ground yet, but it snows on and off all day. Here's a new vocabulary word for you: squall: A sudden outburst of violent wind, usually accompanied with snow or rain. Well, that's what were are supposed to be getting tonight and tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes! Ahhh... Oh, and the rest of the forecast? Snow until Thanksgiving! Wish me luck!

Really cute cupcakes! Makes my cakes look pretty lame. Too bad about the weather, it's been in the 60's and 70's in Colorado!
That class sounds like a lot of fun and your creations look great. Today the guys are getting together for the BYU/Utah game and I really wish you could be here!
