Thanksgiving Fun

Our first Thanksgiving on our own was very successful! I was in charge of doing the turkey. We were really nervous, but after talking to Mom several times this week, everything went smoothly. Our turkey turned out lovely! It was golden brown and juicy. Whew! I forgot to take a picture because Tyler wanted to get carving...
Traci made the pies, and I made a cheesecake. All the pies were yummy.

We had 10 people there, mostly Tyler's classmates. We had a lot of fun, and had people over until 6. We played apples to apples after dinner and pie.
Playing games.
Today we ventured out to the outlet malls in Waterloo, about 1 hour away. We missed most of the rush because the stores all opened at midnight! Crazy people...
We had so much fun shopping because we never go anymore! We got lots of great deals and we're happy to get some shopping done.

What amazing pictures! I just wanted to affirm that turkey was really good. I don't think I've ever had such a juicy turkey.

Good job on the turkey. We turn ours upside down when we cook it. Looks like your surviving outside of Utah!!
