For Memorial day Tyler took off studying for boards a little early so we could go for a short hike. We went to Corbett's Glen, a park with lots of trees and a small river with a few waterfalls. It's surprising because it is in the middle of the city, but so secluded and quiet. It was beautiful and since the weather was so hot, we waded in and played a little in the water. It reminded me of Dunn River Falls in Jamaica, anyone else?

These leaves were HUGE! It's like a jungle out here.

Hope everyone else had a good day off!

Do you think Jenny could walk up these falls without falling? This is Mom commenting but I don't know how to change it to my name!
THIS IS POPCAN.
YOU TWO ARE BRAVE.
I HAVE A GENERAL RULE OF NOT WADING IN ANY WATER WITH FOAM ON IT THAT DOES NOT GO AWAY IN A COUPLE OF SECONDS.
Hey, beware of huge leaves, though that's pretty clearly not the same plant.
Ha ha... I love your parents comments! that place is sooo beautiful. Looks like you guys had fun!
How could I ever forget Dunn River Falls? Everytime I'm in Utah the Cruise video pops out and everyone spends a good 10 minutes laughing at me! I think I should avoid moving water (Hawaii).
Rebe - it looks like you have so much fun in New York. It's beautiful! Let me know when you get to Utah and we can plan lunch/dinner/scum/Arthur or whatever!
