Easter

We started our Easter festivities early this year with our ward egg hunt in the park.  Penny picked it up very quickly and by the end was getting eggs and stashing them by herself.

Bridgette was a pro this year and ran around fast by herself getting her eggs.
My cute (not-so-baby) girl!
After the hunt.

We dyed our eggs Thursday night before Easter.  The girls loved it!
Penny wanted to hold eggs so bad but just tried to throw them or eat them.
The finished eggs.  Bridgette was especially proud of her handiwork!  We looked at the eggs on our table everyday!
Easter morning was so fun!  The girls loved looking at their baskets and looking for eggs.

Penny spent the whole time looking at these two eggs while Bridgette ran around and found all the others!  Haha, life with an older sister!
Comparison of the eggs found- Penny 2, Bridgette 22!
Penelope got a new waterbottle in her basket and loves it!
She also got her first bubbles and is so cute as she tries to blow but mostly dip and suck off the soap.
Bridgette got a chocolate bunny which she thinks is hilarious, but only has one tiny nibble on the ears.  I don't think she'll want to eat anymore because it's too cute.
Even though we watched General Conference at home, I wanted to take some pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses.  I sewed both dresses this year and loved how they turned out.
 Penelope.
 Both girls.
The ones outside turned out much cuter!
The back of Bridgette's dress- I loved the big bows!
 Playing outside.
After watching conference, we headed over to a park with some friends for a yummy ham dinner and mini egg hunt with the kids.  It was a perfect way to end the Easter holiday.  We loved being reminded about Christ and his resurrection by watching conference and how that will bring so much joy to our family!  Happy Easter!
